Piwakawaka performing Swan Lake

Well if it wasn't dancing to Swan Lake it was some other ballet that I don't know!

I'm getting fed up with this having the wrong lens on!  (Third world problem, I know)

One of our teachers today pointed out some birds nest fungi to me - one that I hadn't seen before.  I knew it would necessitate getting down on the ground in the middle of a pathway so I waited until after the students had left then went outside with my small lens on.  

Of course this chap came to visit and flit about me so I had to take his photo instead.  He looked like he could be my friend from home so I do hope he was careful crossing the road to get to school.

The birds eye fungi will have to wait until tomorrow.
