Weatherwise, it was a beautiful day, gorgeous warm sunshine, blue skies.  One of those days when it is a crime to stay indoors. So once home @ 17.00 I persuaded Robin to walk down the hill with me to Kuruçeşme for a couple of long cold drinks at a bar with a view, (pictured) then to another place for dinner.  It was a nice way to end a busy and rather melancholic day as yesterday's news still covers everything in a mantle of sorrow.
