Coming In For A Landing

Had to go to the dentist this morning to get a tooth fixed and the smell of rain was in the air.  On my way back I stopped at the little lake I like so much and took some pictures of the birds.  They were all pretty quiet and mostly laying down.  The weather was turning and by the time I got home we had some rain drops but the worst was the wind.  It was so forceful and I had to take down most of the hanging plants as they were blowing sideways.  We still didn't get enough rain to do any good and it finally cleared up some and the wind slowed down.
