Today was another beautiful summer's day, so hot and sunny. After a wonderful morning run outside I then got stuck into sorting books and cupboards again - these are some of the books I am keeping, one of my favourite reads being the first book on the top shelf.

I managed to squeeze in a grocery shop before heading over to the new house where Gavin was already with the sellers doing the handover and trying to learn how everything works. We get the keys tomorrow and so are able to do some of the things that need doing before we move in. We will only move in July as our current house is not yet sold and would to prefer to sell it furnished, before we move out. The property market is not good for sellers at the moment, but we got our new house at a bargain so its swings and roundabouts for someone buying and selling a property at the moment.

We are going to the Globe Theatre tonight to see Romeo and Juliet with some friends - I have never been there before and thankfully it is a warm night as with the open roof it can get quite chilly. But at least we have seats and not standing tickets.
