Too hot

Both cats have been struggling a bit in the heat this afternoon, but fortunately they had some time outside this morning when it was cooler.

I was volunteering today and I have completed the first four booklets for the food hygiene module and I managed some more practise on the till.  One of the young trainees asked if we could observe a minute's silence at eleven o'clock in support of all those affected by the Manchester attack.  The cafe was not particularly busy but all the staff assembled and everyone there showed their respect.  It was very moving and I think it revealed just how young people have been very upset about this incident.
