Friendly Robin

A very hot afternoon 26-27 C  and Ice Creams were taken on a quick visit to Crowden in Longdendale. We were rewarded with the sight and sound of many birds including this fellow, the Robin by the campsite.

There was a Spotted Flycatcher in one of the gardens near the road (Extra Photo) and even more exciting a Pied Flycatcher in Brockholes Wood  - I didn't get a photo of that one but took a photo of the Wildlife Trust Infiormation Board with a photo of a Pied Flycatcher on it ( Hope you are managing to follow this !) so I include a photo of the noticeboard to mark the occasion.
