Anita on her hols!

I seem to be getting behind with blips as well as comments lately, sorry about that. I've been busy painting the old ceiling and beams in the gite kitchen, which had been sprayed so many times with anti-insect stuff that they turned a strange shade of greeny-brownish black, so I've painted them (and splattered myself) matt black.
Then, as we've all worked so hard, with Anita cleaning everything that doesn't move, and Mr F building a rose pergola thing, we went to St George de Didonne for dinner and a walk along the beach to look at the sunset.
Anita and Mr F enjoyed ice creams as well as coffee, but I just had the coffee. It's been 32 degrees here today and going to be hotter tomorrow!
