LARKING ABOUT
I paid my first visit of the year to Spion Kop cemetery on the Headland this afternoon and as usual it was full of nervous skylarks leaping out of their nests and trying to lead me astray and away from their chicks. I thought it might be a bit too breezy for butterflies, but I spotted a Wall Brown and a Common Blue (extras). It was a peaceful and flowery walk on a beautiful day.
