Busy Day

We usually have a fairly free and easy life with few deadlines and times to keep to. Today we had three events and we needed to watch the clock if all three were to work.
First was a visit to our friend (and ex-colleague) Ann L-D who was showing her beautiful watercolours in her cottage and huge greenhouse. Partly we go because the place and the pictures are always beautiful, partly because Ann is such a good friend and partly because we meet so many other friends who are also visiting.
The second event was Lasse’s birthday in Sundsvall, but we only had a short time there to chat, drink coffee, and eat cake before we were off to the third happening which was picking up our old friend Damir from the airport. 
Damir lives in Gothenburg and is up here for a long weekend. We thought Damir would appreciate Ann’s watercolours so it was back to Ann’s.
The fourth and unexpected event was sitting around a table in the greenhouse with Ann and family after everyone else had left. We sat for a couple of hours chatting about this and that and everyone drank wine except the driver (me). It was all the more lovely for being unexpected.
Then it was back home for dinner and the driver finally got a glass of wine!
