This might seem a bit of a non-photo but for the first time today Katie has done her hair school completely on her own, from taking down last night's, brushing her hair and doing something different with it for today. It may seem a tiny achievement but brushing hair that goes almost to your waist is no easy task and then getting it into two even, matching height bunches without tying it in knots..... 

Small but a little moment to remember. 

And the towels still hanging in the garden serve as an amusing reminder of the end of a massive load of laundry we had to do after the "flooding of the bathroom" incident earlier in the week. 

It's 7.15 and she's at the piano, I couldn't hold her off any longer. She's doing her piano practice this morning with plans to show Granny and Grandad her new show tunes repertoire when they come for tea later before dancing.
