Wednesday: Echium Pininana ...

... or something similar??
This was a mystery plant which grew, and grew and grew in the mini wildflower garden behind the garage. It was about five feet tall and last winter the wind finally pulled its roots out of the ground. A quick bit of temporary planting into an old plastic recycling box, lots of soil and water and it's now covered in small flower buds. I'll take another photo when it's in full flower. I can't wait to see all the insects feeding on it :-))
