Caesia

This eucalyptus, commonly known as Silver Princess is my favourite native tree.  Th name refers to the white powder that covers the branches, flower buds and fruit.  However, the unfolding of the flowers from their gum nuts is always a delight.  I found only three or four flowers today as, in reality, they are about a month early this year. My extra is of the flowers fully open.
