First Iris spring '17

This iris was given to me by a gardener in North Carolina. And it is always the first to bloom. Others are just filling out still
Standing proud is Miss Carolina!!

I looked at the ten day weather predictions (probably not the best way to start the day) and the next 10 days have NO SUN! Within that range, there are 4 or 5 thunderstorm-rain days.
Right on to summer...
