Tarr Steps
Lovely hot day today. We travelled out to Tarr Steps which is an ancient crossing over the river Barle on Exmoor. It's the longest clapper bridge in Britain with 17 spans and 54 metres.
After having a look at the bridge we crossed it and walked upstream to the next (newer!) bridge and then back again. We then had lunch at the pub by the bridge.
We then drove to Dulverton, had a quick walk and then had tea and a cake before returning to the cottage for dinner.
