Food Friday!

I drove down to Edinburgh today.
We are staying with our daughter tonight before flying out early tomorrow morning
She made this for our tea.
Very tasty but does anyone know what that is in the middle?
I don't know if I will be able to blip from I...y as I suspect my cable won't stretch that far
