Lights out

It was good to have a chance to relax and catch breath after the hectic days before. I was very, very lazy, and only left the house to get some essential groceries.

While out, I nipped round to the house round the corner which attracts visitors from all over the city because of its over-the-top display of Christmas lights. It was too early in the day for the lights to be on, but the scale of the installation is still quite obvious. Maybe next year I'll get the timing right and catch the display in all its tacky illuminated glory.
