Sue's garden
The morning in Sue's garden. She has lived in her house since 1977, and every inch of the house and the garden has known her capable hands: tending, digging, planting, supporting, repairing, taping, cleaning, sustaining, feeding, painting, watering, and pruning while she hums to herself and chats companionably with the plants.
Today was about being nourished. Tonight I'll go hear Chris Hedges talk about the deep state. I'm tempted to just linger in the garden.
