Cooling Off

The big little one shares her name with a friend from nursery and most days when we ask her who she played with, it's the same friend.

Today, we arranged a play date and what better way to spend to spend a roasting sunny afternoon than running through the garden sprinkler in your swimming costume?!

Her friend also has a little brother who isn't much older than our little little one so they had a lovely chance to play too. The big little one enjoyed herself so much that she cried for the entire walk home and could only be pacified with cake.

I suspect she's found a way to manipulate cake out of me. Next time, I will resist!
