Friday ....

.... long week - but we've got a long weekend, yippee :)

Nearly late for a meeting this morning, forgot I had panel and had to be in a bit earlier! All sorted in the end.

Training this afternoon on CHC - refresh update. Good discussions, mainly around different terminology and being strong with justifying view and following the practice guidance!

Got an SOS call from my sister. She had surgery on her foot 3 weeks ago and has been recovering. This afternoon she noticed that it was more painful and hit to touch. Called GP who asked her to attend the surgery, hence the SOS call. GP told her to go to A&E, so after a very brief food shop and dropping hubby home, we went off to the local hospital. Got there around 7pm, left around 10pm, with a course of anti-biotics. Good sister time, we both like people watching, and found it amusing trying to understand the names that were called out - one sounded like Dairylea! It passed the time ....... it was a good outcome as she thought she would be admitted (although the consultant she saw did say the GP could have given her some anti-biotics). Oh well, she's ok and it made an interesting Friday night!
