Announcing new life!

All along the early morning dog walk the sounds of new babies could be heard....the ducklings, the redwing chirpers, and loudest of all the baby herons.  New births bring the continuity of life continuing....bringing new joys....bringing new hopes and  even sparking more awareness and feeling and a sense of aliveness.....yet all this with the knowledge tonight that my dear friend Barb is slipping away....her copd has gravely worsened and I feel I need to go to her tonight.
