Goodbye for Moving Day

Today was a traumatic day as we moved my mother-in-law from the assisted living/memory care where she has been for over 3 years to another care center.  The cost of care in this part of the US is extremely high and we had to move her to add months to her care options in a less expensive,  but very good facility.  Each of the caregivers in the photo said they would rather lose anyone other than Miss Geri.  It involved moving her personal items as well as furnishings like her bed, etc.  Two our adult daughters and a son-in-law blessed all of us with their presence and help.  My mother-in-law will be 96 on May 30.  The entire process including eating once she was asleep for the night took 8 hours, so my comments are slim.  Thank you.
