A small doorway at Llandaff Cathedral

Llandaff Cathedral ~ Eglwys Gadeiriol Llandaf ~ has huge wooden doors and, for convenience, a small doorway set into them.  The doorway and step have been well worn by the feet of visitors.

The site as a Christian place dates from the 6th Century, so form of religious practice has been happening here for about 1500 years.  The Cathedral itself is fairly new in comparison - well it's about 900 years old.
