First rose of summer

And very fitting it's 'Olivia Rose'.

Another hot, sunny, cloudless day. Another day in a hot stuffy room in Stirling, doing PIE. But I went by train today.

Finished early so home in time for a glass of rose in the garden before heading off to dinner. Want impressed with the service. Much better was Jacky Sand and the Soul's gig at the Outhouse. That'Jack, #2 son's friend. Great set and I got namechecked. That's a first but it was like a sauna.

Last bus home on a balmy evening.
