new arrival
We walked through the door at approximately 8am this morning and 30 minutes later we saw this little chap tottering about at the end of the garden, with his mummy licking all that birthy goo stuff off him.
Even though I feel completely shattered I am now on baby deer watch as mummy deer has gone off to forage (they do this but do come back) and already a great big old boiler of a cat has been lurking about and spooking little fawny.
A hassle free journey home. The plane was only about a quarter full so we had a three seat row each to stretch out on. I managed to sleep for about forty minutes before turbulence woke me and then I couldn't get back off.
Pete aka rip van winkle clocked up four and a half hours of zzzzzz.
For the first time EVER after a flight I was not hauled over at customs and searched. Clearly now I am a lady of a certain age I no longer look like the type of shifty cove who is likely to have contraband stuffed in my holiday knick knacks. Result!
