Gretna

Today I crossed the boarder into England, but before doing so I stopped off briefly at Gretna Green. The place that made Scotland famous, or should that be just Gretna? The famous wedding location is largely transformed into a small shopping centre. It does not look terribly romantic, though I suppose there is a nice flower display at the entrance to the wedding room.

The sun was beating down on me all the way down, the disadvantage of travelling South when the sun is low in the East.

I stopped off in Cumbria for the night, and felt well in need of a rest, so this has been posted some hours late as I fell asleep before posting my Blip of the day. As I feel a bit more energetic today I may do better this evening!
