The Work of Nature....

This is a Bald Cyprus that was collected from the swamps.  It had been struck by lightening and split in half.  The top was nearly gone.  But the owner collected it, potted it and nurtured it.  it is about 12-20" round and about 4' tall,  What you see is the hanging branches from the back, grown over the front.  The white is the scarring where the tree split.  The brown is the bark from the other side that has grown and healed from the event.
This tree was for sale at the convention, yesterday.
