Whatever the weather decides

Well as I'm part of the British Damselfly and Dragonfly society, i often get to go on field trips to record any that are emerging. Today we were on the hunt for the scarce chaser, yesterday would have been a perfect day but the sun decided not to play and it never showed.All was not lost as I did see plenty of other, including the larval skin of a damselfly, the azure pictured above and below the newly emerged adult 4 spotted chaser, only hatched from its larval skin which was below it.
