Millenium Bridge, Newcastle-upon-Tyne

The weather was due to breakdown today so we decided to  pop into  Newcastle.  We'd never visited before and after only a short time we realised that a day was totally inadequate to do justice to the city. 

Amongst the highlights were walking along the quayside and crossing the Millenium and Tyne Bridges.  We also popped into the Baltic, which is a fantastic art space.  This was taken just before the clouds released a deluge of rain on the city.
