Farewell Meconopsis

The rain this afternoon was most welcome.  Although accompanied by thunder and lightning it fell a little short of torrential.  It had consequences though.  I can almost hear the plants swelling and the grass growing.  Some of the petals on the blue poppies decided they had had enough.  It was time to release some seed and get on with the next stage in their life cycle.
After the rain, the garden can be described as lush.  That is a good thing.
