The Sourdough Bakery

Today it was finally time to go on an outing to the sourdough bakery! The one that is out in the countryside, looking out over the fields and that has a wood-fired oven. Mum is nerdy and like that sort of thing. We haven't been since last year.

Despite that it was early in the day, there were already lots of people there. We always go walkies first, along a small grass and gravel road. Then mum got some eggs, and then she went inside to get food. I said I COULD wait outside with Wolf and Rupert, but she said No ain't gonna happen. So I had to wait in the car. Oh well.

We had a yummy asparagus-goat cheese sandwich and a rhubarb-vanilla bun. Yummy! I was not trusted to pose with anything edible. Then we went to look at the chickens and also the asparagus field. Great day!
