Heifers are out!

We put seven heifers out with the cows today. They are the ones that were here last summer, so they are familiar with fences. The ones who have come during the winter will be out in small groups soon.

It was a bit drizzly and quite cool, but that was no problem for the cattle. 4 millimetres of rain which doesn't help much with the dry ground, but at least it won't harm the last sown fields either.
