In the movies

In the evening me, hubby and Emma went to movies to see a Finnish movie Saattokeikka. We all liked it, it was good entertainment for Saturday night. When we go to a movie theatre, we most often choose the first row. There are some theatres where we prefer the second or third row, but in most cases, we're right in the front. It's nice we all have the same preference - most of the people like to sit in the middle or in back.

How do you select a seat when you go to the cinema, could define your personality. Psychologist Hiromi Mizuki tells in an article of the Daily Mail, the inner workings of a person’s heart and mind can affect their choice of cinema seat: 

1. Well-centred
If you sit in the middle of the theatre, directly in front of the screen, it means you're confident and decisive.

2. Back seat bandits
Sitting way up the back, but directly in front of the screen, suggests you're calm and collected, but slightly timid and afraid of being influenced by others.

3. Front rowers
If you sit directly in front of the screen, you're a sociable person who wants to be connected with others constantly.

4. Sidetracked
Sitting in the middle rows of the theatre, but off to one side, means you crave personal space and only gravitate towards people you feel you can be yourself around.

5. Cornered
If you sit in one of the back corners, you want to know everything that's going on but you don't have the confidence to get involved yourself.

6. Silent sufferers
If you sit in the cramped front corners of the cinema, it suggests you accept being inconvenienced.
