Pat's flower bed

Jim bought his mum some bedding plants for her birthday and created her a flower bed at the care home. After a bit of contemplation, Pat joined in, jim and I planted and she swept up. Apparently sweeping up was always her job at home when the men had finished their handy work. Some bits of the brain still work despite dementia, however getting her to sweep onto a shovel was a real challenge! Clearly that bit of her memory has gone. It's a sad old disease, but it was lovely to see her animated this morning
