WE WALK, MISCHA AND I,
through Meer and Bos, the park. Mischa's ankle is on the mend and we walk slowly to enjoy the little forest.
Tonight the launching of the new Extaze number, the literairy quarterly and Mischa will read her column and short story. Her picture framed we will deposit in the Pulchri Studio, where the Extaze night is held too. Tonight the theme is literature and music and we will hear some music performed as well..
Her new job will start in about a week. Enough to ponder and talk about.
On our way back we see some ducks. One I particularly like, her feathers are lovely coloured and she seems sleeping deeply. Then another duck bites her, I wonder why but will never know the answer of course. She bites back and after the quarrel has stopped she had a nice spread and continues her dreaming!
Two already a bit grown moorhen babies come running towards us, loudly crying.
I never experienced those waterbirds dreading no fear for humans at all.
My haiku:
The ducks in their free
Space of grass dreaming of what?
Choose a better place?
And the proverb from Cervantes:
There are only two families in the world, the Haves and the Have nots.
