More slime

"Grandma, am I going to live with you forever?"
Me: " No."
L: " Well then, could I stay here for a month?"

Our lives have been turned upside down this week.
My grandson had surgery to remove an infection that developed in his elbow area.. He had several tests/xrays and surgery was ordered. There is the constant assault on a patient after surgery that a not quite two year old understands,
His blood is monitored to see if the infection has subsided, plus antibiotis given in an IV.
A fever developed and so now he will have a MRI to determine if more surgery is needed. To add insult to injury, a severe allergy occured when his last antibiotic was given.
His parents are holding up as well as can be expected, grandparents not so much.
