Cloudy Skies

After heavy rain yesterday evening and overnight, the estuary was  wearing an amazing sky this morning.  It was hard to believe that this afternoon was the same day with blue skies and sunshine.

Does anyone know the proper name for clouds like this? I think my dad used to call them mackerel skies but where that came from, I don't know.

I have been missing for the last couple of days with a short unexpected trip to hospital. I had my first trip in an ambulance -  was surprised how rough the ride was - no luxury limo that.  However, all is well with me for which I am very grateful. Now to try and catch up with what has been happening in Blipworld.
