February I blipped a photo of a local Church which had just been destroyed by fire.  Finally, work men started demolishing the remaining building which has been looking so sad.  At the time of the fire publicity suggested arson may be involved but it was very quickly established that an exploding fluorescent tube was the cause.  Just a few weeks ago a weekend fire in a building housing local radiology services caused damage which has closed this building for six months.  The cause has been established as another exploding fluorescent tube.  The Fire Service are now encouraging people with older type (not sure what that means) fluorescent tubes to have them safety checked.
