Restaurant with a view
A change in the weather and although warm and sticky the mist was just out there threatening rain but didn't come to much. A lovely lunch time meal with a jolly crowd celebrating a 94th birthday at Ballygown, wonderful.
We need rain and have heard of places nearby that have run out; our burn is just a trickle but so long as it's running the tank will have water in it. In our 18 years of living here we have never run out and the thinking of John and neighbour N is although we are not to waste it there is little point in saving it. Phew. When I think of all that washing and watering of plants this week.
Isn't it wonderful to see the young birds flitting around, we have numerous Siskins and a delightful young Robin on the veranda to entertain us.
