Decay
I liked the rusty textures on the chimenea on our patio. Then a fly conveniently landed on it.
I went to get my camera not thinking for a moment that the fly would still be there when I got back but it was.
Flies aren't very nice but ponder for a moment how terrible it would be without them. They provide a vital service laying their eggs on dead flesh so the maggots can dispose of it before turning into more flies.
If we had no flies the world would be full of rotting carcasses. Hope I haven't put you off your Sunday lunch!
