Meet the Elusive Houdini Bunzini

My husband and I are thrilled to be back in the bunny business. :-) We have two new bunnies in the yard, and we see them almost every day. We think of them as the Magic Buns. (Hey, if Springsteen can have a Magic Rat, we can have Magic Buns.)

I've already introduced you to the one we see most often. We think of her as a girl, and her name is Genie Bunzini, like the genie out of a bottle who grants your wish. I've captured her eating dandelions like a champ, and we've even gotten a glamor shot of her.

This is her lesser seen and seldom photographed brother, Houdini Bunzini. We think of him as a male, and he likes to hang out in front of the azalea hedge. At the slightest motion, though, he disappears back under the hedge. One minute he's there. The next, he's GONE!

This is what he was up to on Saturday afternoon. Apparently, napping was all the rage. Indoors, Dexter was napping up a storm. Outdoors, Houdini Bunzini was lying flat-out in the grass. What a hard life! :-) And what a cute little fuzzy TAIL!
