Leith Theatre

Amongst the usual Saturday errands we managed to pop in to the temporarily re-opened Leith Theatre which is home to a series of Hidden Door events. First time I'd been in there - what a great space! The foostie smell reminded me strongly of the Lyceum Theatre in London which we were first into with a production of the Mysteries after it had been closed for some years. The peeling paint was very similar too. Wouldn't be surprised if they find a pigeon nesting in one of the dressing rooms.....not sure who was starting to sound check here, Idlewild maybe.

I believe there's a plan to get it open again permanently; that would be so good.
