Crossing The Pennines.

On the M62 motorway crossing the Pennines that separate Yorkshire from Lancashire we saw this lone walker on the bridge that is on the 200 miles plus walking route known as The Pennine way.
Rest of the walk is undulating to say the least!

( I had to put this diagonal on as it crossed the walker.)

The extra is Stott Hall Farm an 18th Centuury building which lies between two motorway carriageways.
The farmer refused to sell his land and it was saved by a geographical fault that prevented all six lanes of the motorway to be built side by side.
The dashboard of the car is at the bottom of the photograph.
I wasn't driving!
Engineers had to build an underpass under each carriageway for him and his livestock to reach other parts of his land.

Internet very poor so only stars and hearts from me, will comment as and when l can .
