Soft rain and rainbow

More soft rain fell today, now we need a couple of days of heavy rain!  But, a little is better than nothing, and it's wonderful for the gardens.
I love rainbows...this was taken on the coastal road just a few kms away. The rainbow views from our patio have also been beautiful.  
It's a real winter's day...I have cooked a venison stew in my slow cooker, and can't wait to taste it tonight.....with a glass or two of red wine!
