Blow out

Today on my commute to work on my bike I blew out both tires. The rear one was a sidewall puncture about 2 inches long. The front one was a sharp, tiny stone that punctured the tire near the side, but on the road side of the tire. Both tires have slime in the tubes and at least for the front tire, it helped me get to work. The rear tire was not helped by slime and I rode the last few hundred feet on the rim. When I got home, I took the whole bike apart and cleaned up the tires and tubes. I ordered some new parts online, but they aren't going to be around for at least a week.
