New Pots
Decided to have lunch out at the Garden Centre in Perth. Bad mistake! The roads were jammed with cars going who knows where, the café was packed with noisy children and the toastie was the worst ever (looked like someone had sat on the bread - it was so thin!)
Not in the best mood for buying plants, but the day brightened considerably when one of the managers offered to sell me the lovely pot with the cordyline for not much more than the cost of the ceramic pot! It had lost its price label and was the last one left. What a nice man:-)
Also bought some plants for the larger pot out the front, as the pansies had died off, but as always, I overestimated how many plants it would hold and bought far too many. They were in, they were out, they were in again and then working on the basis that "less is more", they stayed out!
Have found a home for them elsewhere and the three remaining plants in the pot will fill it out in no time.
Roads still busy on the way home, but fortunately all going the opposite way!
