Pausing for a rest

Last night this baby goldfinch came in for shelter and sat on the patio sheltering by the old chimney pot. It sat for ages, allowed me to set up my tripod inside, and take the picture through the patio window. Then a leaf came in the wind and frightened it away - it was only then that I saw the tail feathers and realised it was a goldfinch.
