First Marathon

I ran my first  Marathon today. It's called the Edinburgh Marathon, but almost all of the route is on the road into East Lothian. It was rather warm and I hadn't slept enough since Friday, but I was happy to get round in 3:30:06. I'd entered because two of Mme A's cousins and a dozen of their running friends had decided to do it (or the half marathon). The picture shows the cousin with several of the accompanying children, all wearing the shirts which had been prepared for the event.
