Morning service today with the very good people of St Laurence, Eastwood, an ancient church right next to the runway of Southend airport, you hear and feel each take-off and landing. The good people of this full church are amongst some of the happiest people I've come across. They genuinely enjoy worshipping together, supporting each other and working together in their community. After the service some stayed behind to talk specifically about work amongst children. These are great people doing great work in a great way in a great place.
