Behind Bars

I went to Gloucester Prison for a look round today - not particularly cheap at £15 but I enjoyed about 3 hours wandering round.  It's open for visits at least until April - possibly more although one day it will be redeveloped and turned into something else.  

I'll go again and do the guided tour as I was chatting with a lady who had done the tour and she pointed out some interesting bits I'd not noticed.  I also had a chat with a chap who had gone to see his old cell and he told me about what it was like to be incarcerated there.
