Start line!

A friend who was unable to run the Edinburgh half this week gave me their place last Monday (I know it's bad.....)
So I thought I'd just go for it even though I hadn't trained for it.
I was concerned about hitting "the wall" at the 10 mile mark as I did many moons ago when I did the Inverness half without appropriate training!
So I decided to just take it easy, take in the atmosphere and run to finish.

And my plan paid off........ I had a very enjoyable run and I didn't hit any walls!

What a lovely route and atmosphere..... I'm already thinking of signing up for next year.
